2008 Was a memorable year for our Parish. The Opening Mass for our new St Benedict's church was celebrated in superb style on Sunday, 24 February 2008. The WYD Cross and Icon was in our Parish in early June 2008. WYD continues to inspire our Youth and Parishioners.

There are several Parish events every month, some are special occasions, and some events are scheduled regularly by the various Parish Social Groups.

Our Saturday evening Family Masses are proving very popular. The next Parish Family Mass is on Saturday 8 August 2009 at 6pm. Everyone is most welcome. 

Our Faith Enrichment Program has many varied events throughout the year that will inspire you, and deepen your relationship with God through better understanding of our faith. Click on  Faith Enrichment Program  to view the upcoming series of events.

The Parish Morning Tea is held every last Sunday of the month in the Albert Lynch Room, straight after the 9.30am Mass. Everyone is welcome (not only those attending Mass) to catch up for a chat over a cup of tea and cake.

The Christmas Morning Tea is on the Sunday before Christmas after the 9.30am Mass. This is a particularly special event and we encourage as many parishioners and their families to join us in the festivities.

At least once per term, St Bene's Kidz club organises fun activities for children  during Morning Tea.  See Parish Bulletin for details.  Be sure to bring your children along, or even grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and friends.

July 11 is St Benedict's Feast Day. Our Parish celebrations will be outlined in the Bulletin.

The annual Parish Dinner Dance is generally held in August.

Father Peter offers the Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick at special Masses for the Seniors. These are advertised in the Bulletin.
