Eucharist
The sacrament of the Eucharist is also known as "First Holy
Communion"; "The Eucharist of God's gift of love". It is the
source and summit of the Christian life. Through the
Eucharist we are intimately united with Christ. As we gather
in thanksgiving we firstly listen to the Word of God and we are
invited to respond through making the Word present in our
lives. To help us do so we are nourished and strengthened by
the Body and Blood of Jesus, which is our spiritual food and drink
for our journey in faith. As we participate in the Eucharist
we are embracing our commitment of share the Good News to all
through our love and service of others.
Please see Religious Education Program for
children wanting to receive this Sacrament.
